Originally from Barcelona, Spain, Irenka Pareto is an emerging relief printmaker intentionally examining daily life’s beauty as an act of resistance to current dominant narratives that cause inattentiveness and hopelessness. As someone born during the transition from fascism to democracy in her first home, Irenka’s work stems from the knowledge that hope and beauty are an essential component of social change.
