In this workshop, I will walk you through the creation of your own rubber stamp to be used as art prints, greeting cards, to print onto fabric, etc. We will cover design, transfer, carving, inking and finally: printing! At every step, I will be there to answer questions and share tips. This workshop is perfect for beginners and experts alike and it is one of my favorites to teach. No drawing skills required. WHERE? Downtown Berkeley (California), 15 minutes walking from a BART station and with plenty of free parking around. I will send you the details upon booking and more details a week before the workshop.
WHAT SHALL YOU BRING? Just your awesome self and a sense of curiosity! If you want, you can bring your own tools. I’ll provide inks, tools, papers and so forth.
FOOD & DRINKS: There will be tea and some snacks available. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, so make it a date night and make some reservations nearby for after the workshop :)

WHAT WILL YOU LEAVE WITH? For the class I will provide the tools and materials to work with during the workshop. You will take home: a small edition of prints, what is left of your own carved linocut block, a handout with recommended materials and other tips, and a wonderful new set of skills.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to cancel, please let me know via email at irenka@thewonderstruckprintmaker.comat least 72 hours before the workshop and I will refund the cost minus the Paypal fee I was charged for the transactions. Late cancellations or no-shows won’t receive refunds, as I will be losing the ability to earn my keep that day
